Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, Moon Knight first appeared in 1975’s Werewolf by Night # 32. Essentially the answer to DC’s Bruce Wayne / Batman, Moon Knight eventually received his own solo series that fleshed out his backstory and saw him taking on such villains as Bushman and Moon Shade. During a mission gone wrong, Spector dies in Egypt. However, Khonshu resurrects him. Over the years, Spector has played a key role in the Marvel Universe as a member of such teams as the Avengers and West Coast Avengers.

At this time, it’s not known when Moon Knight will next appear in the MCU following the release of his eponymous show. Isaac, for his part, indicated that his continuing to play Moon Knight would depend on how his turn as the character is received. However, given the chance, Isaac said he’d reprise the role.

Moon Knight Season 1 arrives on March 30.
