Flip a new leaf. Larsa Pippen has dated more than one basketball player, but she’s ready to try something different.

“It’s almost like a nurse and a doctor – if you’re a nurse and have worked in a hospital, you’re more likely to like having friends who are doctors.” Real Housewives of Miami star, 47, exclusively told Us Weekly Wednesday, January 12th. “So I feel like I’ve been in the basketball world for so long that I feel like I’m just surrounded by that world.”

The reality TV personality went from her ex-husband, former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen, in November 2018. The duo ended their divorce earlier this month, more than three years after Larsa applied. The former spouses share four children: Scotty Jr., 21, Preston, 19, Justin, 16, and Sophia, 13.

“It’s not like I’m going and looking for it,” the Chicago native continued dating professional athletes. “It’s just there, you know?”

Following his split from the six-time NBA champion, 56, Larsa Marie founder went on to Malik Beasley, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The couple were first connected in November 2020, when the native of Georgia, 25, was still married Montana Yao. Less than six months later, Larsa and Beasley resigned.

“I try to avoid athletes,” it said Keeping up with the Kardashians alum told U.S of her future dating plans. “If that’s the question, I’m definitely trying to avoid athletes.”

Larsa added that she “in a way” regrets her romance with Beasley, who called the relationship “childish” in a public apology to Yao, 24.

“I do not want to give too much life to my previous relationship,” Larsa explained. “I just think you learn from all your mistakes. You grow every day and I just feel like I’m in a better place today than I was yesterday.”

During an episode from December 2021 of RHOM, Larsa admitted that Scottie occasionally weighs in on her new relationship – and he did not approve of Beasley.

“When Malik got 90 days or something in jail, he sent it to me,” she told costar Lisa Hochstein. “He says, ‘Keep going, keep talking to these losers.’

The former Denver Nuggets player was arrested after an incident in September 2020 in which he aimed a gun at a family outside his home in Minnesota, according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. He pleaded guilty to the charge of crime in December of that year and later served 78 days in jail.
