TikTok star Rory Teasley has been found dead as a 28-year-old, with police suspecting he was murdered.
It is alleged that his girlfriend strangled him after an altercation, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement to Insider.
The publication reports that officers were called to an apartment in Pontiac, Michican on Thursday night by Rory’s girlfriend Docquen Jovo Watkins, who said they had been involved in an altercation.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Rory unconscious and out of breath.
The social media star was driven to the hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead.
Watkins was charged with murder after being booked into Oakland County Jail on Friday. He is being held without restraint and has not yet been assigned a lawyer.

A conference on probable cause is scheduled for January 18 and a feasibility study is scheduled for January 25.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said: “We see all too often across the country these days when people resort to violence because of trivial and insignificant disagreements.
“There is never a reason violence is acceptable over a disagreement. Those who do will be held accountable.”
Police said Rory and his girlfriend had been together for 10 years.
Rory was best known for posting comedy and dance clips on the social media app and had over 200,000 followers.
The content creator wrote late on Thursday and made a joke about turning 30 years old.
In the funny video clip, Rory “struggled” to get up off the couch.
Rory was also popular on Instagram, where he called himself “Everybody Gay Bestfriend” and had over 62,000 followers.
After hearing the news of his sudden death, fans hailed the star.
“It’s sad that you did not even reach the age of 30 … we love you Rory (sic),” wrote one fan.
Another outraged fan wrote: “RIP really hurt the city of this one, you will be missed such a beautiful soul (sic).”
“Omg rest in paradise,” commented a third.
“It hurt so much,” said a fourth.
