Five new ways to keep your fish happy in Megaquarium’s new Freshwater Frenzy DLC

Megakvarium is an amusement park management tycoon game with an aquatic twist. You design screens, take care of your fish, manage your staff and keep your guests happy. Freshwater madness is the first Deluxe extension for Megakvarium on the console. By adding a five-level freshwater-focused campaign, there is a whole new environment in which you can explore, master and learn new ways to overcome freshwater challenges. Here are five ways to master the new challenges that freshwater animals bring Megakvarium.

Freshwater madness adds 30 new species of freshwater fish, from the prehistoric Arapaima to the well-known piranha. There are seven new tanks to accommodate these new fish, new care requirements to understand and challenging new aquascaping conditions to meet. Do your new fresh residents need liquid cover or bog? You will have to give everything they need to keep them happy!

For the first time ever in Megakvarium you will be able to breed baby animals in your aquarium! A selection of the new fish can be bred, each with its own set of unique breeding requirements, from a particular place to lay their eggs to a certain temperature, it is important to get the right environment to promote breeding. You will then need to raise these baby animals and make sure that you give them your constant attention.

In addition to breeding, you will also be able to hybridize some species, with selective breeding you will be able to create color and pattern combinations that you love. By mating specific animals together, you increase your chances of getting exactly the hybrid you want. Watch for a DNA icon to see which animals you hybridize!

If that does not sound like a challenge enough, let me introduce you to pH scales. Some of the animals will require you to maintain a certain pH in their tanks, but how will you do that? You can do this by using passive sources, or by letting the machines handle the heavy lifts. It is entirely up to you.

Freshwater madness also adds some new animals: reptiles. The eastern long-necked turtle, dwarf crocodile and green anaconda to be exact. These animals all need land and water, and there are new tank designs that house them, called Beach Tanks. In addition to the new Beach Tanks, there are new tanks that have suspended platforms so your guests can see tanks from a whole new view.

You will also be able to spread this knowledge to the people who visit your aquarium. A number of new accessories have been added Freshwater madness, one of them is posters that can teach your visitors facts and also be a little bit fun. Their value depends on the contents of the connected tank, so be sure to design your exhibits carefully! The second accessory is added Megakvarium in Freshwater madness is a backpack that doubles the employee’s transport capacity, sneakers that increase the user’s speed, a feeding stick that increases the user’s feeding ability, or a tool belt that adds a boost to the wearer’s fastening ability. . Be warned though – they can only be assigned one at a time!
