EXCLUSIVE: Nicki Minaj – Jennifer Hough’s lawyer confirms that harassment case against the rapper has been voluntarily rejected – Kenneth Petty case is still ongoing
It seems that new details have emerged Jennifer Houghs lawsuit against Nicki Minaj. According to reports, Jennifer Hough has denied her harassment case against the rapper Nicki Minaj. But the case against Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty is still in progress. In legal documents released on Wednesday (January 12), it is revealed that the trial against Nicki Minaj has been voluntarily rejected.
In an exclusive statement from Jennifers lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, he tells us
“The case was voluntarily dismissed with respect to Nicki in NY. The case against Kenneth is ongoing. With regard to everything else regarding Nicki, stay tuned!”
As previously reported, Nicki Minaj and her husband –Kenneth Petty– has been involved in a harassment case since earlier this year. The case was brought by Jennifer Hough, who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Petty back in 1995. Hough filed the lawsuit after the couple allegedly began pressuring her to withdraw her accusation. This reportedly began after Kenneth Petty was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

In August, Jennifer sued Nicki Minaj, claiming that the rapper and her legal team had offered to pay Jennifer to change her story of what happened to Kenneth. Jennifer Hough then stated publicly in an exclusive interview on The Right in September. She described the case and talked about the charges against Petty and also accused the couple of harassing her.
Nicki Minaj has not yet commented publicly on the new developments involving the case.
