The latest season of The bachelor does not get the most exciting start, with former contestant Caila Quinn running an Instagram poll to prove viewers are already bored of Clayton Echard. So far, fans are overwhelmed by Clayton’s presence on screen. Now, an IG poll has almost confirmed that fans are not participating in the latest season.
Fans learned a lot about the new Bachelor franchise manager, Clayton, who currently works in orthopedic sales and comes from Columbia, Missouri. The latest reality star is also on the way in the books while pursuing her MBA from Southeast Missouri State University. ABC viewers were ready for a lead in the Midwest and were thrilled to find out that Clayton played Division I football as a tight end while attending the University of Missouri. Supporters of the show felt that the singleton was sure to win over fans with its chiseled good looks and sweet demeanor. Instead, there has been a bit of a setback due to Clayton’s lackluster performance.
Caila is no stranger to running a poll or two, as she usually enjoys asking 457,000 followers their opinions on certain issues. Bachelor fans have seen her conduct polls before and often participate in answering her questions. The reality star, who became an influencer, often goes on her Instagram Live or Instagram Stories between commercial breaks to chat about the show. Recently, Caila has kept her fans updated and recently learned that her bachelor supporters are just not interested in Clayton. See Caila’s story below:
After sharing a screenshot of the recent rose ceremony, Caila learned that 64% of her followers were does not watching the current season. It seems that Clayton just does not do it for them. Fans can remember that Caila was a participant in The bachelor season 20. The former reality star had a good run and reached week nine before being eliminated. Caila returned too Bachelor in paradise third season. This time, she decided to leave the show in week five. The network almost chose Caila as Bachelor during her 12th season, but in the end she lost to JoJo Fletcher.
Clayton’s soft and calm demeanor does him no favors as he continues to lose fans and receive backlash. Caila’s poll just showed that ABC may have made a mistake when they chose the Midwestern singletone as their lead. While the franchise will most likely recover after a miserable season, current ratings will be a struggle to get up. Fans will continue to make their mark by answering several of Caila’s polls.
