Long lines for COVID-19 testing in Melbourne as infections rise

Local residents reported long lines outside the COVID-19 testing facilities in Melbourne, Victoria, as the number of infections rose in the state on Dec. 17. Victoria registered another 1,510 cases on Friday, including another six confirmed cases of the Omicron variant. This brings the total number of Omicron cases in Victoria to 19.
